Ya the 8 cells are pretty cool. I bought the parkzone 8 cell that was made for the cub, but I haven't flown it with the neo battery pack yet but I've done some testing and the plane gets a lot more thrust. It's awsome.

Your video is still great. I love super cub.

hello everyone, can say to me someone which akkus is used here, because I hold for a very good idea with several akkus, so that one can fly longer.but writes please with all apostrophe and so on, because I come from Germany and cannot yet so well English

I swapped out the motor for a 480 brushless with a 30 amp esc and a 1800 li-po. You should see this thing go!!!! When I get some one to come out and film it, I will stick it on here. With the super cub you don't have to spend a lot of money to have great fun!!!!
Nice flying, nice vid : )

What's the difference between the first 8-cell you showed (the crappy one) and the second you showed (the good one)? Which one actually came with the plane?

Cool! I'm going to get a better battery now! Have you done any other mods to it?
u should put deans plugs on the battery you will get more volts:)

I did even better than that, I put in a 3S lipo with Deans, and get lots more volts. =) But the motor doesn't last near as long. I've burned through two of them already.

Make your own packs!!
Solder and cells are cheap, wrap em with some electricians tape... :)
Gotta learn to solder first though.

I did make that one pack, and it was crap, as I mentioned. But even if you know how to solder, soldering cells isn't the best way to make packs, the right way is with spot-weld tabs. No heat required. Packs are cheap anyway, about the same cost as making one really, but without the time involved. Just my opinion. I've since bought a lipo pack and personally believe that is the best way to fly. And those I would recommend buying also, and not making. =)

your landing gear are on backwards. they should be turned around so they are angled towards the front so it looks like its actually on the gear covers

They bend after a few hard landings, that's all. I bend them forwards, and then they get bent back. There is no backwards/forwards to how they go on, they are straight. They just don't stay that way for long.
