  • love Patty...but Rosie ? she was not the youngest to win an academy award..Shirley Temple was..she was 6..Thought everyone knew that?

  • @kazrules2007 In 1963 Duke was the youngest, at the time, to win a COMPETITIVE Oscar. All children before that, including Temple, Judy Garland, and Margaret O'Brien won miniature statues. In 1960 Haley Mills was the last to win one of these child Oscars for Polyanna. The only two to beat Duke's record were Tatum O'Neal and Anna Paquin.
