The speed limit-other then in the small test areas-for trucks at this time is 55 mph and 65 mph for cars in Ohio.Trucks kept passing me though.

  • @pater429 EXACTLY! That's what pisses me off most of the times. I drive a car, I was on my way to Minnesota, and near the border between Illinois and Indiana, one other truck decided to pass the truck in front of me. And like you said, probably only 1mph faster.

    God it pisses me off.

Like if you can't push the pedal harder. I know it's a 4-lane highway, which means you can pass with who knows what speed, but still. OTHERS WANT TO PASS TOO.

  • Ya and Drivers like you piss me off also, get the F#@K out of the middle lane and let us who want to speed proceed.......

  • Here in Ontario the limit for trucks is 105 kph (65 mph). Most trucks that drive faster are the independents.

  • cool music! 55 boaring foot to the floor got to make up time!

  • ohh look snail seks, the other one is driving 56

  • If you want to drive your truck 70-75MPH, take I-75 North one state.

  • what r u a cop or a truck driver? u want to drive 55 ok stay to the right and let the rest of us by u and quit ur bitchin

  • Thats how we roll in ohio, places to go, people to see

  • @northernchicken just read the reply n i said the same thing ...o i wish 68 or 70 were available in the uk instead of the soal distroying 55 that we are govened to day after day after day but it does cut down on the blow outs i suppose

  • @curryhousekarl actually you are wrong, the speedo is calibrated for new tires. therefore the truck with new tires and an accurate speedo calibrated to that tire size, final drive ratio and output ratio will be doing 55 when he's showing 55. the truck running on worn tires or smaller tires than his equipment is calibrated for will be travelling slower than his speedo is reading.
