  • To my grandfather, one of the first members of the Parachute Regiment and my great uncle, a Royal Marine, still fighting at 90.

    To all members of the Armed Forces past and present, a very big thank you.

    God Bless You All.

  • Perhaps the best rendition of "Flowers of the Forest" I've heard and in such fitting surroundings with great respect and reverence due this Scottish Traditional lament!!!

    Thanks for sharing, as you prove that you are indeed a Professional!!!

  • Hey, Du solltest unbedingt mal in Ieper am Menentor zum Last Post spielen...wenn sie dich lassen...supergenial, ich kenne den tune in und auswendig, und viele spielen es einfach runter, aber bei Dir steckte soviel Gefühl drin! Danke! Und vergiss die Deppen, die hier dämliche anti-deutsche Kommentare ablassen...scheissegal, aus welchem Land wir kommen oder? Das sollte doch mal endlich vorbei sein.........;

  • Hallo Jürgen

    Great playing. I just love Flowers of the Forest,- and you play it great. Lovely throws and doublings. Amazing.

    If I might come with some small notice...... I find that you in the third part play the highG in bar 2, 6 and 10 way to short. It's an eighth note and has to be emphasized more, since this is our whole beat. Better to keep the following F almost short as a grace note. This realy makes this part swing..... but great stuff from you. Love it.
