@WarForFaith wiki/Team_Sleep this has a decent description of their genre, i like the "shoegaze" genre as a description xD, but i'd just call them experimental alternative rock, chino always calls his stuff rock and i respect that alot. but yeah team sleep has some off genres according to wiki, guess that's why you couldn't name it ;)

This is a demo song that has been floating around for some time. So, unfortunatly, its recordless. However, I recommend Team Sleep's self titled record if you haven't gotten it already. =]

did you use audacity and put it through mono and then convert the audio ?

I didn't rip the audio, so I cant help you there. But from what I know, audacity is a pretty convenient tool to do so.
