Kotor 1 on windows 7(NEW)

***NOTE READ THIS PLEASE***
After doing everything i have told you but you receive errors with strange symbols or you get something like "please insert disk" than please update your game to the latest patch by pressing the "update" square where it shows the popup letting you start the game and letting you configure the game. After updating successfully please download the "Knights of the Old Republic v1.03 [ENGLISH] Fixed EXE" crack from the link below. than after you downloaded the crack drag the .exe(the crack file) file into your game folder and hit "copy and replace".after following these steps you should not have anymore problems. If your problems persist than please write a comment and i will respond as soon as possible.(I respond to EVERY comment posted!)

i did everything you said in the video but it still opens up in full screen mode. sometimes it works but most of the time it just crashes like in the vid at min 8:45 even with resolution at 800*600. what cam i do now? thx

@shappire55 Under graphics options did you write AllowWindowedMode=1 ? Also check if fullscreen=1 is set to fullscreen=0. than change the width and height to 800 and 600 in the same menu where you changed the fullscreen=1 to fullscreen=0. If that still doesn't work ill search for more fixes for your problem.

@39Apex The steam version is harder to fix than the original one. I don't know a way to make the steam version work sorry.

@TheBakunawa17 if i put a new crack from a different source it might contain a virus. I suggest you go to the website called thepiratebay,org and search for a crack for your game version. You can search "kotor 1 1.03 crack" in the search box or just "kotor 1 crack"

@bluespy4 yes i did the patch but it is now giving me the symbols..can you upload a working crack?

@mitchstick85 Have you updated your game to version 1.03? if not the crack will give you the symbols without the rite update. If you did update than the only way to fix the synbols error is to use a working crack.
