In its second year, the Acorns of Hope saw a great increase in ridership, with over twice as many cyclists from all over North America coming down to join the cause. Bob Thibodeaux, with the help of his granddaughter Alex, led the lively bunch through the beautiful Louisiana bayou.
Anyone interested in coastal restoration efforts should get involved with America's WETLAND: Campaign to Save Coastal Louisiana. The foundation works to raise public awareness of the impact Louisianas wetland loss has on the state, nation and world and to gain support for efforts to conserve and save coastal Louisiana.
