John McElroy test drives a Chevy Equinox fuel cell vehicle and gives his instant take on what the vehicle feels like on the highway and in stop-and-go traffic.
is there a way of purging all the excess water vapor out of the system after you shut the key off? i've heard you can have problems in the winter time with the cell freezing and not being able to get it to start/work.
this is bull : the same companies that killed the EV1 !! all they want is billions in grants under the false pretense that this '' hydrogen thing will work'' then guess whio will distribute it & sell it at ''gas stations''.?.....oil companies of course ...LOL... .F "&%@§ G morons....well...you lay in the bed you make so .....enjoy !
The fuel cells do not provide enough power and are too expensive to use alone. The batteries provide extra power for acceleration and store power from regenerative braking.
Why would they do that? That would be pointless and Not eliminate the Problem of pollution. (Creating the Batteries for Electric cars does just as much damage as Driving a Hummer for a couple Years)

Do you honestly think car manufactures want to el " Green " cars ??? They are controlled by the oil companies .
If they want " Green " vehicles to sell make them more affordable , they cost more than regular vehicles.....
Who killed the electric car , check it out.
