Amputation Poem & Video

I wrote this poem shortly after the amputation of my right leg. People said I should record it and video it so... I did.

I can relate to this so much,meg I salute you.I am a aka like you, although you seem to be able to cope with all the stares much better than me,but like you I too feel that this has made me a better person than before , more driven,self reliant, but in some ways more of a recluse. well anyway I really liked this, a bit of advise, be aware that since we have taken antibiotics so VERY much we are very susceptible to those nasty MRSA.s and always will be. keep up the good fight meg SALUTE

@boobouts thanks. I'm glad you like this. Unfortunately I know all too well about infection as that's why I lost my leg to begin with and still continue to battle them. It'll never get the best of me though and I just keep keeping on!!!!!!

Thanks :-) I wrote it shortly after the amputation but I put the video together 2 days after the 1 year anniversary of the amputation.
