In this part I tackle the fitting of a Summerlands Chuffer in some detail. As usual I am rambling on so there are corrections as usual! The film was already long enough so the chuffer testing can be seen in part 4. Please note that I have no connection with Roundhouse other than as a satisfied customer.

  • Tip: use the depthprobe of the caliper on the bottomend to find the exhaust pipe height inside of the chimmney before smokebox removal and then deduct that measurement from the ehxaustpipe cut.

  • @TNKleinbahner - Thanks for the tip - and yes that will work fine! The only thing to watch out for is that the exhausts can be different heights so go for the taller and measure on that.

    Cheers

    Chris
