Okay, here's the deal, I think. I wasn't clicking the "Done" button after the app code was generated and also, I copied the app code into the password box and CHECKED the "Remember Password" checkbox. Shutdown Google Talk and restarted it but now it loaded correctly using the app code and NOT my Google password,

I'm assuming this is the default behavior and correct procedure, because it works repeatedly fine now.

On GoogleTalk,every morning I have re-generate my app code GoogleTalk (note: copied into the password box WITHOUT the "Remember Password" checkbox checked. Then when I shutdown the application, restart it and enter my normal Google password ("Remember Password" now checked). It gives me the username/password do not match. WTF?
