the game was not simulated they were played by two people, the computers are too dumb to do anything but run in a straight line, that was player controled.

This hacked rom is shit. Kick and punt returners are not supposed to be that fast, and they way overdid the stats. Seems like anyone who is even remotely good has a ridiculously high running speed and maximum speed. Even Bo Jackson in the original wasn't as fast as those guys because Tecmo made the stats balance out far better.
