Truer words have never been said. This is just a fantastic anti-war film, up there with "All's Quiet," "Das Boot," and "Apocalypse Now."

I posted smthing earlier that showed my anger towards the war and what i thought this film was trying to send....but after hearing what his father just said I can't help but wish there are more ppl lik that in japans goverment system. i admire his father very much he is a lucky lucky boy. You are worth crying for
