Onto the heavies! Bert Wilson holds his own against the very tough Behn Wilson. A few nice wild shots by "Murray"... hahaha

  • Bert was my uncle, he died Febuary 28, 1992, 3 months after I was born, he could have tought me alot about hockey....expecially fighting

  • @dempsey00 LOL nope; clean win for Behn Wilson. Good fight but I'll bet a lot that Behn Wilson's right hands and uppercuts hurt a lot more than Bert Wilson's left hooks. You gotta actually watch the fight bud

  • Was that Gary Dornhoeffer (sp) doing the color commentary and saying "that's not gonna do any damage."?? Yeah...like he knows anything about fighting, the f*cking goof. He was a slug when he was a Flyer, while guys like Schultz, Kelly, Dupont, Van Impe, and others did the 'heavy lifting'. "No good punches landed.."..Piss off Gary.

  • Bert didnt get the ink he deserved. His pim numbers were never high because a lot of guys avoided him. He played clean for the most part didnt cheapshot people but was very hard to check because he would frequently not wear elbow pads. It was like trying to check to porcupine, something on him would get a piece of you, hard.

  • "Battlin" Bert was one of the few tough guys the Kings had back in their early days, and did very well against a great fighter here

  • Big Behn is flailing away here but catching nothing but air. Bert Wilson caught him with a couple of good shots and takes a unanimous decision.

  • He was, and was a fan favorite here in L.A. when he was here. He was known as "Big Hands" and "Dirty Bertie".

And anyone who thinks that a punch to the side of the head "doesn't do any damage" has never taken a punch of any kind, above the neck, in his life.

  • Bert was a good solid brawler for years in the N.H.L this one against big Behn was at the tail end of his career.

  • sorry about that Bert Wilson passed away a few years ago

  • Behn passe away a few years ago RIP
