The Jamaicans didn't put their best at this because they believe they would have beat Americans at the big events. They just wanted to see how Americans would do with their "best" stars.

@pearpeas Well I might be willing to admit that america has been hugely egotistical but i think we on the whole are getting better especially since we USED to have a lot of money. But we do realize that if we want to be the best we have to compete against the best. And the best can come from anywhere. Carl Lewis was a poor competitor but Tyson Gay is the man because of his humility. We're gettin' better. Be patient with us please!
