Excellent Snake! Age hasn't slowed you down one bit!
-
This is also in MGS VR missions.

They don't make music like MG2's these days. Played this first time on the HD pack and this was the thing that kept me from quitting into MGS3

Best theme in this game in my view! And that says something - all the music in this game sets the bar ridiculously high!
-
Always reminds me of main theme from Robocop 3 on NES. Probably because the melody is almost identical.

@HyperShan3 Yeah, MG2 was WAY more playable than MG1... and much more interesting. MG1 is cool for the memory, but its basicness has turned many away from the series... Quite a shame really :|. Their loss.

@HyperShan3 WHAAAAT?!!?! D: beat them. now!

You know, that box art is a lot less horrifying when you consider the fact that all those frightened troops need to do is lob grenades at the legs...
I can't get enough of this game. I think my friends are starting to get a bit annoyed by how much I love it :P

I was late in playing the Metal Gear series, but I am SO glad that I played the series in order starting with the ports included in MGS3 Subsistence. I saw the game's progression, and still see MG2 as my favorite in the series because it was ahead of its time.

I hope these Metal Gear and Metal Gear 2 recieve a remaking. It would be bloody amazing to play these games on a Next -Gen Console

lol wow never heard the whole song usually got caught at 0:58 or made it to a different area lol
Ahh, 140.85. The one frequency that has been in nearly every MG game. When you think of a communications frequency in tactical espionage games, you think of the good old 140.85.
It would be too much of a beauty if both games came in as a bonus with the upcoming HD collection, but if that happens it's like Metal Gear just had great sex with technology and the offsrpings become totally awesome.

@chaosgreyblood MG1 and MG2 are definitely included as part of the HD collection. I don't think they'll be given any kind of upgrade like MGS2,MGS3 and Peace Walker, though.

Makes me wanna finish Metal Gear 1 & 2, the only MG games I have that is yet to be finished. Also, I still need to give MGS: Special Mission a whirl - I haven't properly played it! =S

@HyperShan3 Get it played, mate. MG1 isn't all that great but MG2 is amazing. Best game in the series for me.
