Final year UK masters student Dominic Wodehouse has been implementing a joint Mangrove Action Project / Wetlands International project to rehabilitate a former shrimp pond back to mangrove. This pond is situated in the Krabi Ramsar site, southwest Thailand, and has not been used for several years. Despite having a good tidal flush and being surrounded by mangroves, the pond was not naturally regenerating on its own.
