MG ZR - BMC CDA or K&N?

I wanted a more sporty sound on the MG but didn't want to go along the boy racer pathway of getting a new exhaust. Instead I decided to change the air filter to a BMC CDA! I would have done a full tutorial but it was done over a year ago and I no longer have the stock air filter to put back on. Since I installed it I have yet to place an intake funnel and I mounted the filter upside down so the stickers weren't facing up as it looked cheap under the hood. Nice wheels mate. I'm thinking of doing this to my 05 facelift model, from what i can tell their the same car and the work involved looks relatively simple. the only question i have is Did you have any engine warning lights come on after you made the switchover? i worry because my mate changed an air filter on his golf and has had problems with engine management lights ever since.

@YouNewb100 No engine management warning for me mate, the switch over went fine without any complications. However I don't think MG systems are quite as sophisticated as VWs, so maybe that's why your friend had the warning and I didnt? lol
