Or was it the High-Five? I can't find any information on this band, but apparently they had at least one 45 out and played at the Cafe Wha in Greenwich Village. Here they perform "Did You Have to Rub It In" and succumb to a classic mid-'60s stunt. Lee Remick fills in for Bess Myerson on the panel.

  • I'm sure their manager or something had a contract for a tv apperance and forced them to do this to sell records...

  • A "normal" haircut. LOL

  • Anyone know what guitar the vocalist (ted barron?) and the guitarist on the other mic that was stood closest to Ted were playing. Looks like the same one.

  • Did the drummer lose a stick or is he playing with his hand on purpose?

  • Betsy Palmer before Friday the 13th as Mrs. Voorhees - great clip!

  • Without long hair they couldn't sing rock'n'roll? Tell that to The Monks.

  • did he say ted barron?

cuz my last name is barron haha

  • So how did the The Hive -Five go after their haircut?? Stupid Hippies!!

  • That Lee Remick. She's a real looker. Yup.
