great tutorial! people don't seem to realize how long animating takes. Especially frame-by-frame like this. My work is almost all motion tweens and it is still a lot of work, yet people expect new videos every month!

Brilliant Tutorial, fingers crossed for more tutorials, keep up the good work!

Flash true is quite an amazing tool to create animations of different sorts. If we look back to your creating Bloo's Gang etc, do you miss those times? Since I'm guessing that was made with a, if not quite alot, of pencils and frames?

Yes I do prefer the original paper and pencil animation but its so ridiculously expensive as well as time consuming and you have to wait for some clueless suit to tell you your idea is worthy when you know it is anyway. I've grown tired of waiting.for the okay and Flash is a great way to empower yourself. In the end I want to tell stories and I can do that wih Flash.

@milowerx So I guess that's why we hardly see true pencil animations today? Because of money and the wait? I was born during the 80's and since you posted your work to Cartoon Network, I guess you have an idea of what Cartoons I miss. Flintstones, The Jetsons, Captain Planet - You name it. If I were to flip over to Cartoon Network today, I am [With all do respect] close to disgusted. Horrible shows, hehe. I guess you're able to catch like... Flintstones at times and Tom & Jerry.

Well actually most of the animation done today is still done traditionally in the sense that it's hand animated and not done with Flash. For instance Phineas and Ferb is done that way. So was Chowder, Flapjack, Ben 10 and just about anything else on TV today. I think what you're noticing is the idea itself which speaks to the problem I'm referring to. If executive who can't make films themselves are in charge of green-lighting shows, how long do you think before most shows suck?

What the networks are doing is trying to pull your eyes from the other channel so they go for the lowest common denominator.
