  • Ouch! That orchestra did worse than the child in the audience. However, Rachel's playing was lyrical but ....intonation problems.....guess the band were really off form and Rachel wondered whether they might stop....

  • Rachel? My name is Caeli.

  • Nice DR. What strings were you using? Sounds like an E string from Pirastro. Currently I'm using obligato across all 4's, but I'd like to try Goldbrokat Lezner E or the Gold Label. Do you have any experience with the prior?

  • On this instrument I've only used Evah Pirazzis. I've had the violin just about 18 months.

  • Wow, great job! You are VERY accomplished!

  • I don't like it.

  • that orchestra was bad

  • @ samicomaestro, in wich way " is good that the child listen your concert" ?

really a lack of respect for the orchestra and soloist to take children to a concert.

you want the baby to grow musical? ok, but not at expenses of a concert or worse a recording. Put a cd at home for your baby if you most

  • In the Schirmer copy I can not find any indication that says Multo Ritmico. I do have alla Zingara and several appassionato indicated in the part. I feel that this piece has a lot of passion in it so it must express the music in a way that represents both the music and the performer.

  • Keep practicing you can play better. I like the baby's sound, that is so good that little baby listen your concert. Well done. God is giving you talent, play for him He will bless you more. All the best.

  • Tempo is ok, I think: it IS marked "Allegro moderato", although perhaps it should be a bit more liberal as it's also marked "a la zingara" (gypsy style), so you WOULD expect variations in tempo including rubato. But she put in some nice phrasing. Min 2:28 SHOULD be faster to bring out its brilliance and contrast with the "festive" next section, which should be more "devil-may-care". Perhaps a bit more "dash & brilliance" towards the end. Overall a good performance of a most demanding concerto!

  • hmmm that orchestra wasn't that good and there were some intonation issues

    AND THE BABY!!!

  • This is gr8
