Is it really new? (GameStop Rant)

GameStop is breaking the Law, here is why. The Uniform Deceptive Trade Practices Act prevents a common GameStop practice of gutting brand new games then selling them as New. GameStop should have an open box policy, but sadly they don't. We need to call them on this bullshit and end this once and for all. I used to frequent gamestop but I soon discovered that Toys"r"us actually had better promotions!! For example, just before RAGE was released, gamestop claimed the DLC you got getting it from them was "exclusive" to them, BULLSHIT!! toys r us had it too. And to top it off TOYS R US gave u the strategy guide and a $20 toys r us gift card on release day for free!! Basically paid $40 for $100 worth of goods!!!!

i bought a game marked as 'new' today and when i got to the register they went and put a disc in the case and i was like "is this new or used?" she said its new, it was just out of the box.. so i bought it.. then i thought about it for a few minutes and took it back for a full refund.. i don't mind that its used, its just the principle.. they are deceptive and i'm tired of buying new games and getting them opened or f*cked up or used
