I'm still trying to understand the difference between lightweight/heavyweight. Whats the cutoff between the two? Because i' m 166 and my 2k is 1:50 flat~7:23. I'm a freshman in Highschool. Does that weight make such a massive difference?
@BroskiBrochachoMusic The idea is that the more you weigh, the more you weigh down the boat. In high school, the lightweight cutoff is 155 or 150. In college, it is 160 or 165. It depends on the season and regatta sometimes.

i weigh 139 too. wat split is a 7 38? cause my pr is 1:53 which is ok i can still improve alot but its not bad
