At the recent Acts 29 Boot Camp in Seattle, WA, I sat down with Mark Driscoll to talk about a number of topics. In part one of the conversation, I talk to Mark about the unique (and difficult) position he finds himself in in seeking to maintain Gospel humility in the midst of global notoriety.

Though most of us will never be in exactly the same situation, the principles he shares are helpful and reproducible in all of our lives. Listen. Learn. Tweet.

  • "I am not humble" is actually a humble statement.

  • This is a great interview. I like how casual it feels. Thanks for posting this.

  • @desasterz Are you humble?

  • I don't agree with that CJ line. There aren't digrees, it's all about the heart. Either you're humble or your not.

  • @crisDAwog I'm talking about gray issues.. It's like if you watch Avatar you are a pagan or if you don't like MMA you area a sissy in Driscoll's world. I'm not talking about orthodox vs. unorthodox issues

  • @MrCava1ier not his way gods way gods

  • Humility: True Greatness by C. J. Mahaney and Joshua Harris is my favorite book on humility also.
