Once in the room they brutalise , Ian is not cautioned, the interview is not recorded, Ian is denied a Solicitor or legal advice.
When they are investigated by the IPPC (a fellow officer and friend of Colin Dawson, Detective Sergeant Craig Mullish) they do not deny the matter...they just can't remember.

Nothing but bullies and thugs. How corrupt and sickening betrayal from "law enforcement", never a more inappropriate title has been given to someone! Scandalous about the cameras too, they are meant for the protection of people (in this case at least). Hope everything goes well in the end Ian, as I'm sure it will. As the saying goes.

Like other group of people, police range from good to bad, courageous to cowardly, incorruptible to greedily corruptible. The difference between police and others, is they close ranks to protect a force's "honour". Police are only investigated by police, and most paperwork is concealed. The G20 incidents showed, with manslaughter of Tomlinson, and the thuggery of Delroy Smellie, the courts are worthless.. google "fast4truth" for a narrative on corruption within Devon & Cornwall police.

you'd think it was obvious during the ippc investigation that wiped footage highlights irregularities. Question, there should be procedures written down and followed for missing footage? Why is the footage missing? what wa the cause? is footage missing for other periods? Should all be logged. All footage is recorded on hard drive these days which can record 100's of hours footage. Someone is to blame!
