Jason is an "undiscovered" songwriting star. He made the Truckers into something bigger. I'm going to see his Toronto show and can't wait. I was there when the Truckers played Tipitina's in New Orleans on the weekend of Hurricane Katrina, and was there when Jason debuted this song at Stubb's in Austin (search the video) so maybe something special will happen at the El Mocambo--the club where the Stones played in the night Mick famously made off with Maggie Trudeau, the Prime Minister's wife.

I saw Jason last night in Chicago, and he was amazing. Seeing that song live is soul-stirring! I got to talk with him and he was a very warm, friendly guy. Jason's CD will be out on July 10th and you can preview some of the tunes on his MySpace page: jasonisbellmusic. I hope he wins a Grammy!

Jason Isbell should be a huge star! His solo album is sensational. Love this peformance he has such a great voice.

yeah i was at the chicago show also,he is a wonderful person and preformer!god knows he deserves much sucess..and when his album drops its gonna blow up..i have heard this song three time live and everytime it gets better..kudo's to jason cheers!
