Thank-you so so so much for uploading this! Over 7 years I have waited to hear this opening in its glory without that TWAT Wogan chatting shit all over it!

My only wish now is to find out the name of the song that is used for the opening titles, any ideas???

omg we were in the same boat. i also had to wait 7 years to see this intro again.. only to find out señor wogan was in it.  thanks should go to shane79 for originally uploading this video (unfortunately, he disappeared). as for the song, i heard it was custom made specifically for this intro. anyone else have any ideas?

Thanks a million for putting this up again, really it is porbably the best Eurovision opening of recent times. I usually like Wogan's cynicism but I couldn't believe how he pissed over that fabulous music on the other clip from the BBC.

This is one of the best openings in eurovision. Especially when they zoom in to that girl and everything is quiet; and in the moment she say welcome europe, the hole arena just explode in light. Its so powerful, and the music makes a great feeling
