AND THAT WOULD BE absolutely dead on , the video concept is , she is in purgatory of sorts ( as if she has returned from drowning )to be with her lover , but knows she cant take him with her ,but does,nt want to leave him behind . Florence is a brillant woman ,and the best female vocalists/lyricists of this decade !

This song is about Virginia Wolf who commit suicide by drowning herself, she suffered from severe depression all her life and in her final note she wrote to her husband something along the lines of thanking him for being so patient with her but that she was ruining their lives and that if anyone could have saved her it would have been him. So I think the man and woman are quite fitting...

The song is much more figurative than that. I think it's not about drowning (in water, of course) at all and if the video was about that, it would be quite too simplified and unambitious.
