Metroid Prime style remix of Brinstar feat. WillRock - Progressive House, Electronica, Chill-out

Is there a more popular and all-around intriguing and encompassing galactic hunter than Samus Aran? More than unlikely, and who would have thought such a beauty was inside that bulky metal God of an exoskeleton the whole time?

This remix came about when I was playing with z3ta+ and found several sounds inside it that I would swear on a Bible were used in the Metroid Prime games and I made up this track to try to almost sound like a real rearrangement of that Brinstar track if it were used in Metroid Prime (only later did I discover that the multiplayer song of MP2 was a rearrangement).

This version of the track was rejected by OCR and so someday I will be retooling it further until it gets accepted. For now, I wanted to share this music and this gorgeous artwork I found with you.

Hey, man. I was wondering what instrument samples/VSTi you were using for the high-end instruments that reminded me of a synth ocarina/recorder. I've been wanting to slap together some Prime-styled music, and you've got some stuff that I'd like to look into.

Try listening at a lower volume? Not sure what to tell ya, the frequencies are pretty high I guess, but no one yet has told me its PAINFUL. Certainly I wouldn't have posted it if I thought it was that bad.

This is hard to listen to, that synth is too high octave, loud, and with too many high frequencies.. it's painful..
