@horselinda123456789 I rescued it from being run over. I have picked 2 of these up from the same place. They fly into the glass office building near why I live. In Japan they live in the trees, it was not someone's pet. I put it in a warm box for 10mins and luckily it didn't have any real damage other than a headache probably. I took it back to the park and it sat on my hand, looked at me and then flew off in the trees.
@apollonia1979 Rescued it from where? if it was a pet, it won't last a day in the wild. No pet bird should be released into the wild, for they have no wild instinct
i know pet birds don't survive outsides, don't think the worst of people

Japanese white eye is one of this bird's many monikers . It is the same species as the Southeast Asian one .

I rescued one of these on friday and released it back to the wild.
I will never forget its beautiful eyes. It was really tame but I have 4 cats and I dont think it would have liked them :)

Great vid, not so great song, I would have much rather enjoyed the sound of the bird itself.
