CORONA- In the first game of the post-Travis Santiago era, visiting Charter Oak High School struggled at times to find a rhythm, rotating two quarterbacks, before ultimately taking control in the second half and spoiling Roosevelt High School's first-ever home game. Junior quarterback Kory Brown, who started the game, completed his final eight attempts, including two touchdown passes to propel the Chargers to a 35-0 win. Brown finished the night 13-of-17 for 144 yards.
