I have read this book and I have to say...I'm impressed. It's even more than i expected. The characters are so complex and so well built...Rebecca, the iced-heart beauty,Paul, the brilliant kid and Arlen, the old and experienced ex-marine...everything it's charming. This book deserves to be read.

THE CYPRESS HOUSE is a fantastic read. Dark, lyrical, and just the right measure of suspense, Koryta takes you on an unpredictable journey where the supernatural invades the ordinary in surprising ways. Not just a mindless page-turner, either, but full of depth of character and a beautifully rendered sense of place. Check it out. It's worth the time.
