On a cold & foggy November night Battle of Britain class No 34067 'Tangmere' arrives and departs Crewe station. As it was dark the quality is not brilliant but hey, what a loco! Look out for the glow from the fire on closeup. (wish the woman on the tannoy would be quiet lol).

  • I think that your vid shows one of many reasons why Steam Trains(especially Tangmere) can be so totally absorbing, in any weather and at any time of day..The departure is extremely atmospheric. Well done..

  • Thank you.

  • Most atmospheric. Incidentally, why is the comment marked as spam marked as spam? Unless it's some subtle spamcan reference.

  • Thanks for your comment. I don't understand why this is marked as spam though!

  • good video in bad conditions, well done.

  • Thanks. It was worth a try because a steam train on a foggy night is great to see.
