@siradon2000 - tax breaks in stimulus?
Like the ones that went to Solanga?
China spends 30 billion on subsidies
to their solar which means our solar
has to leapfrog current tech to win the
race which means big risk which means
Obama did the right thing your
propaganda notwithstanding.
1989 & 2008 ...the last 2 republican
administrations were a disaster.

Yeah I also remember Tax Breaks for large corporations being included in the "Stimulus" that Obama seemed to be making a stink about during the Debt Ceiling debacle. You know, the ones "we didn't ask for, and didn't want", the same ones he signed into being? See the addition of those tax cuts was really not that beneficial when you realize that Inflation has risen over 3.5 percent over the past 2 years, and will continue to rise due to the Fed printing more money to keep interest rates low.
-
@danger0usknowledge Actually by giving Big Business Bailouts, and Printing that "Stimulus Money" the middle and lower class are the only ones who really lose. Inflation caused by the massive printing of the money given to those Big Business'. "like having the unmitigated nerve to have middle class tax cuts as part of the $timulus." Under Reagan who had Majority in Congress? How is inflating the cost of everything by printing more money and giving that money to the rich putting anything aside?

@siradon2000 "Political reality says you need the $ backing of Big Finance."
I couldn't have said it better myself...except that I did say it 8 months ago
as per the above comment. It's reality & Citizens United makes it even
more so. It's already figured into my political equation.
Obama or Clinton don't have to lie about it...they just make
sure a little of something is put aside for the middle class
like having the unmitigated nerve to have middle class
tax cuts as part of the $timulus.

@siradon2000 I was in favor of both bailouts b/c I am in favor of keeping the world economy afloat. My point was, if I had those 2 events on my watch I would be screaming socialist at opponents while rebranding myself tea party to compensate If Republicans won in 08 they would never have allowed to tolerate 11% unemplm't w/o stimulus to combat the Bush recession & resulting unemplm't The unions gave more that the Chamber of Comm, GS, than combined corporations or proxies? I doubt that.

@danger0usknowledge The "false equivalence" is simply you being in denial. Its a harsh reality that many people have realized, and whether you want to admit it, you know its true. History is history, you can't change it, whether you like it or not. The Clinton's, Obama's, they pander to big business and lie to their voting base to get elected, whats worse is that you fall for it every time.
-
@danger0usknowledge Go to my channel and look under the topic "Economics", do me a favor and watch every video. What you need to understand is that Democrats as well as Republicans are both "WHOLLY OWNED" (barring the Tea Party Candidates voted in last year, they clearly are not owned as of yet). I like Jesse Ventura's explanation, politics is like wrestling, they talk smack in the ring (in congress),but at the end of the day they all go out to dinner with each other, and are the best of friends
-
@danger0usknowledge False equivalence? Unions are the LARGEST donors to political candidates and have been at least dating back to 1989. Note Democrats had Majority of Congress during most of Reagan's 8 years, and the bailouts during Bush had to be passed with Democrat Majority, as well as the Stimulus, and the Obama Bailout. What do you do if you're a Republican? Same thing any intelligent voter should do, check their voting history, and try to find someone close to your ideal candidate.
-
@siradon2000 False equivalence. Republicans are
WHOLLY OWNED & PROUD OF IT.
Identity politics takes care of their uninformed voters.
The last 2 Republican Admin:
1989, 8 yrs of Reagan & Republicans & Bush Sr was
forced to bail out 2000 banks & S&L's.
2008, after 8 yrs of Bush Jr, 12+trillion to bail out banks again.
What a joke of a record. What do u do if u're a Republican?
U get the amazing PR machine to call everyone else socialists
& yell Barney Frank! George Soros! Clinton! Rham!
-
@danger0usknowledge Ignoring the Democrats involvement is just plain foolish. Bill Clinton enforced Jimmy Carter's "Affordable Housing Act" and simply didn't sign back in the Glass-Steagle Act which allowed the "sub-prime" lending to begin with. Bush Jr. in reality only made the process more profitable by allowing Banks to sell these high risk loans to other banks.Rham Emanuel was one of Obama's "friends" for years, and a Goldman Sachs Lobbyist. To claim they're only partially owned is ridiculous
GS house is full of crooks. We need to stop these thieves.......Madoff and GS are the same kind...
