Jesus fucking christ!!! I had no idea that back in the 60's movies became so extreme. I thought the good shit began in the mid late 70's. Not bad for a movie of it's time. My gramdmother was 27 when this movie came out. No wonder why she wasn't at all uptight when I watched this stuff as a child.

exactly!..there would be no Leatherface, Jason, Michael Myers, etc. without this...the song was meant to be ironic!
