  • I don't smoke, never have, but my whole family did/does. I think all the second hand smoke has effected my lungs because now I get asthma attacks around people who are smoking, I can't handle it physically. I try to be understanding and not make a fuss, especially when I'm at their house, but I like being able to breathe. The smell makes me nauseous too. How can I change my beliefs about all this so I can be more supportive of smokers and not annoy them with my coughing?

  • I maintain that the pictures/events/the world we see is tied to inner meanings, just like in dreams, but at the point of physical manifestation. Smoke may provides a "smoke screen" which aids those who have a belive they cannot shield the flood of information all around them by choice alone.Their confidence is undermined by a set of complex social agreements which they have taken up as their solid belives, preventing themselves from making a more personal choice.Meditation could highlight them.

  • @therubiks18 me too... but at least you can keep your 3 only when you are not drinking :)

  • @fernandatralala yea, i can quit for like 3 days easily. i think if i really wanted to quit, it could. when i drink though, i have to smoke

  • @therubiks18 3 cigarrets a day are ok. if you can keep like that is practically not smoking!
