  • I play this piece in my school band, not the county band I played Mazama in. IMO, the flute solo was a wee bit fast, and the next section was wee tad too slow, then the next section a wee bit too fast, but thats my conductors take on it! This is excellent! How many people play 1st tpt in this band, cause in both my bands (county & school), i am 1 of 3?

  • Well i can't remeber exactly how many trumpets but it's more than 10! :)

  • HOLY COW THATS FAST

  • wow there good, or practiced a lot. We are currently going to play this piece for our concert, and our xylophoest is the best ever. if you listen at 2:31 and listen closely, you can hear it. If you get the chance to listen to just the xylophone part, its absolutely amazing. And not to "advertise" here but if you do want to hear it, check out my channel on February 8th,2011 or anytime after and i should have a video up of the amazing xylophone part.

  • we freaking rocked this in branson :)

btw, GO SEE THE CATS PAJAMAS! THEY ARE FLIPPING AMAZINGGGG!!! <3

  • wow my band is actually playing tht song but not as fast b/c were only in 8th grade

  • is there a bari sax in your band? If so then your band is awesome. If not, then you band is.. pretty good. lol. bari sax ftw

  • Amazing!! Love the tempo change in measure 35! Great precussion!! I played this last year and always thought it should go faster, and you guys did! Brilliant! Is it sad to day I'[m the band dork who whipped out their music and played allong? Either way, just marvelous!

  • my high school band is going down to branson on october 14th, we're going to be playing before the show called Cats Pajamas. the clarinet part that starts at measure 40, i think it does, i currently don't have my music with me, but that was hard to learn, but i finally mastered it yesterday:)

  • With this our concert band play it the same speed as after the drums

  • Playing this son at the moment, the score says a lot faster at the start though, good effort though!

  • lol at the fast part the conductor looks like they are dancing lol. i agree a bit too fast at the beginning and end and a bit too slow in the middle
