This is the famous big cage fight from 1933. this is the original fight, there are no edited or deleted scenes in this video. enjoy.

the tiger seemed to have the upper hand. he pinned the lion several times down to the ground. at the end, without the humans spraying water to the tiger, he probably had killed the lion.

  • The Lion would of been killed without a doubt by the Tigress if they had not been seperated. What i cant workout was why werent the animals seperated sooner?

  • @xxskillzxx0 because that fight was part from the movie "the big cage" from 1933 made by clyde beatty. he wanted to show a fight between a tiger and a lion. that fight was not an accident, that fight was purpose.

  • exciting

  • @whitehollow1 I`m talking about what he stated directly based upon observation. And, Beatty sent in 20 lions and 5 tigers so that a lion could establish himself as arena boss. For starters, such arrangements allow for a more interesting performance, as his is a fighting act, and such an arrangement makes the tigers, admittedly, a bit nervous. But, the purpose was only to allow a lion to come forth as arena boos. With their impressive looks and manes, it seems only fitting.

  • @brentlion many of beattys statements, not all but many, are wrong or biased because he was biased in lions. he put 20 lions with 5 tigers together and call the lion then as "ruler" of the cage. he's not a good source.

  • @whitehollow1 Also, the tiger in this particular fight didn`t get killed. However, it did lose, according to beatty, an eye witness. In this vid, there are several repeated scenes, and the actual end of the fight is not shown, nor is all of the scenes shown in the proper order.

  • @whitehollow1 Ahhhh i see.
