  • this is the first positive wing tsun vs mma video that i've seen, it has really inspired me to progress with my training thanks!!!

  • @83dannyphantom Thank you my friend! Greetings to US from Greece.

  • where is the judoka! one with good takedown knowledge would have your back scratching the floor all day lol...go test a wrestler with those leading low kicks! he'd snatch your leg and have slamming on the ground

taekwondo is good for show but in a realistic no holds barred fight it doesnt do well..

  • @hekoka My friend, at other moments in the fight,he did actually snatch my leg and moments later he locked me! lol...I didn't upload tis moments, because back then i did't know any ground technikes. At that time i had only about 1 year of training (he was experienced)

About the takedown you are right,it's a very powerfull weapon, but only against one opponent. In WT we have some ground technikes, but we try to avoid it.

And i think it's the fighter who wins or looses, not the martial art.

  • Man. I thought it was reall MMA. Turns out. It was just TKD and Judo. No offense but i don't really believe in TKD as a base foundation. Too focused on kicks. Believe me. I've never seen a (TKD only) match where there was a punch knockout. and if there ever was, it was an amatuer fight. Karate seems like a better base. Way to Go Lyoto Machida.

  • I think these guys need to loosen up abit, sure they both know things bout fighting but they dont know when to use there knowledge and thats a big flaw

  • you can not wait your enemy!! you must close every distance quickly, before he attack, and than never let him go! see what emin botzepe do!

  • ....and I don't see the part where they're doing judo? Oo

  • @MrHighbyMyself

    Wrong.

  • Imagine the MMA guy is Royce Gracie or Randy Couture instead of a guy showing off that he can do high kicks.

    "What was that? An exhibition?"

  • Good wing chun. I've seen guys in Hong Kong who don't apply it this well.

  • rubbish video , good sparring

  • The mma guy is shit

  • @hekoka wing chun has very direct takedown techniques, some quite similar to judo too by the way. a judoka better not come too close or he can just as well be the one ending up on the ground. against takedown specialist those mma guy's high kicks would be even more of a problem than the much faster straight kick of wing chun. i mean he pretty much takes himself down. judo is a sport and they don't train in strikes to defend on the floor because competitions always ends as soon one is floored too
