Introducing the Dankung "Cougar" designed by Jörg Sprave

Slingshots are getting more and more popular both in China and in the Western World.
However, until now the typical Western slingshot was much different to the classical Chinese designs.
Western shooters often prefer thin flat bands and like larger frames. Chinese shooters mostly shoot tubular bands, in the flipstyle technique. Both design types have serious advantages, but the shooter had to decide for one of the concepts.

Jörg Sprave, owner of The Slingshot Channel, is a world renown slingshot expert with much experience from his years of extensive testing. He tested virtually all of the commercially made slingshots, but he designed and built dozens of own, unique models. Therefore, Dankung has asked him to supply a design that combines both worlds, in order to offer the first GLOBAL slingshot!

After many months of design, tests and optimisations, the product is finally available. Introducing the Cougar slingshot, a beautiful, strong and versatile design that is equally suitable for flat bands and for looped tubular setups.
The frame is large enough for big hands, even if held in the typical hammer grip style. But it also suits smaller hands and supports the traditional Chinese grip, with the thumb and index finger holding the fork arms, and the pinkie finger locked into the lower part of the handle.
The shiny, stainless steel slingshot is wrapped in thick, sturdy paracord. The unique cougar ears on the top of the fork allow a very solid attachment of powerful flat bands in the popular Over The Top style, single or multi layered. But due to the generous hole with a slot in one corner, a tubular, looped band set can be slipped on in just a second.
Jörg Sprave has officially approved the product (the video review can be found on his youtube channel). Therefore, each slingshot is engraved with his personal signature, and the text Special Edition underneath.
The Cougar is available in two versions:
1. The Jörg Sprave Special Edition, sold through Dankung directly, set up with tubular bands
2. The Jörg Sprave Limited Edition, sold exclusively through selected distributors and dealers, set up with powerful, thin and wide flat bands
Both versions are engraved and can thus be differentiated from each other easily. The Limited Edition is expected to gain collectors value quickly.
This new slingshot is perfect for beginners, enthusiasts and collectors alike!

hey is there any way to get the slingshot sent to australia with just the frame itself because customs only let you send unassembled slingshots.

@mraznninja96 i know it's late but ill still comment. i have had no problem getting assembled slingshots into aus. iv also just got 1 with the wrist strap in 1 peace. tho i ordered some rubber and it got stuck in customs, can't understand that as last time i looked it was 100% legal to import rubber tubing, dankung have contacted customs for me tho and are trying to fix it up.

@mraznninja96 I live in australia to and although our laws are strict, I have had no problem in importing many assembled slingshots. Just make sure they dont have a wrist strap and you should be fine.

@JoergSprave Awesome channel dude! Enjoying your vids lol :) I'm a beginner Slingshot shooter, but can't decide between your Cougar or Panther...hmm decisions, decisions lol. I like both! Which do you recommend? Can these things shoot as far as across a football or even crazier a baseball field?!? Talking 100 yards, baseball more like 300+ yards lol. Just curious.

Just ordered mine now off ebay :D...I have an old slingshot I bought 5 years ago while in hungary Il do a video on it its quite interesting looking it has 4 forks but ive recently put theratube black on it and only really need the top 2 forks...I want to know what type of slingshot it is so I will have to post a video and someone here can tell me. Thanks.
