I would never do that. I'm just amazed at the fact that anyone should be rewarded for crime. As this war is nothing but that, criminal, illegal. It is murder, it is occupation, it is dismemberment, rape and all things that a war entails. What is the reward for such a crime? A pension with benifits?

These guys were lied to and sent to a country where the population doesn't want them to stay. There is individual responsibility, and also command responsibility.

These guys are not justifying the things they did, they are helping us to understand them, so we see the systematic effects of Bush's war. They could have just come home and crawled into a bottle and told nobody. They're speaking out, which is a good thing. Iraqis already know what goes on, it's about time the rest of us found out.
