  • @pogoism1 well if the majority of them consider themselves Kurdish why not, but if they consider themselves Turkish so be it. Mandali, xaneqin and kerkuk and the kirmanc region around mosul all consider themselves Kurds and speak Kurdish. In fact till high school and partly in college Kurds in Kerkuk get Kurdish Education not Arabic. But there is a group of Kurds here, "Shabak" they basically speak Hewrami dialect but because they are not Muslims, they don't want to be Kurds, so be it :)))

  • @ocmentos

    It is not that easy.

Like I said, my home town is very assimilated, but there are many Elaziz people living in German for example.

These towns are Kurdistan, you wont give up on Mandali Xanekin Kerkuk Mosul und Sengal either, won't you?

Just because they were repressed more than other kurdish cities doesn't mean that we don't fight for them

Every little village is to be protected, from Erdehan to Ilam and Urmiya to Kocgiri

  • @pogoism1 well if the Kurds in those cities claim they are Turks, We will be better off without those types of Kurds :)

  • @ocmentos

The bright future for Turkeys Kurds might go for cities like Diyarbekir, Mardin and Hakkari but the others....

Malatya, Erzincan, Maras, Elazig, Erzurum, there is nothing kurdish left in these cities

  • @pogoism1 Yes that is what I meant. Fortunately In Southern Kurdistan we have achieved that time, and I see a bright future for Turkey's Kurds as well. But Kurds in Iran, every day they are reducing....

  • @ocmentos

Very true, I am from Elazig (Xarpet).

It is nearly complete assmilated, and the smaller towns around Elazig, in which my parents were born, speak a really turkified kurdish.

It's not our fault, nobody likes us, because they fear our old and rich culture.

Let's hope, that there will be a time, when kurds can live in their homeland in peace, without fearing assimilation and ignorance.

  • @pogoism1 if you spoke Sorani you would understand what I meant. day by day the Kurds in Iran allow more Persian words into their language, it didn't always used to be like this ;)) one day it won't be Kurdish anymore.. the Kurdish border in Iran gets narrower day by day, and it is because the Kurds are losing their own Identity, Kind of like in Turkey :S, I just don't want to see that

  • @ocmentos

Calm down faggot, there are many variants of Kurdish, Kurmancî Western-Kurdistan, Kurmanci from Serhad, from Xorasan, Zazaki, Sorani, Kalhori, Laki, Fayili

    there is no "right" kurdish
