The Irish Washerwoman is one of the most typical and recognizable (and possibly the most tired) of Celtic Irish songs, but here's our version of it on guitar and mandolin. Played by Celtic Cat (Pat Quinn) and Prairie Dog (Keith Johnson).

  • Thanks for the comment and compliment. I appreciate it. I hope to post a 'cleaner' version of this duet song in the future, with better sound.

  • Thanks for the comment. I see that your interest is rock 'n roll, but the fact that you also play this folkie Irish song with your Grandpa is very commendable, and shows a generous, open-minded view towards all types of music. Maybe you should videotape you and your Grandpa and post it as a video response to this.

  • Nice and simple but it works well, I'd raise my glass if I was drinking in that bar.

  • i love how both of you are playing Ovations , awesome playing guys

  • this is one of my favorite Irish songs And you guys played it well

  • i see no need, the craic in background adds to it tremendously
