New set 8069 is great but makes you turn knobs more than i wanted, so i revamped the model by adding 6 remotely controlled motors. Only the legs are left for manual operation. This is from just the set parts, Power Function parts, and a piece of nylon wire.

  • nice motorization dude...

  • @bazmarc Thx :)

  • I really enjoyed the battery pack at the front, it gave a sturdy look to it, in my opinion. I guess I would try to use those trapezoidal spare parts somewhere...

  • @Ariranhaa Thanks, frankly this was the only option to get a battery pack in...

  • Can you tell me how you did this or could you give me some instructions!

  • @Onthebuses1000 Sure, just click the link in the info section about this vid. Perhaps you need to click "Show more..." to get to read that info. Wish people were able to find this themselves, i am lost at making this better accessible, anyone???

BTW Mind you that this is not an easy build with the nylon rope that needs the right length/tension etc.

Let me know if you run into any issues. Happy building!

  • @LegoNXTman What is it that you do not like about it? Any suggestions on how to improve while sticking to the same parts of the set?

  • All your models are so good but that is not good!:(

  • @NXTLiftBoy thx i'll take a look at it

might not get to it today because of all my homework (which i should be doing)

    but thx again :-)

  • @Justin9Lego Hard to recall. I believe it was done in a single weekend, so perhaps around 10 to 15 hours? As i did not really clock it, and because time bends in the neighborhood of LEGO, i cannot do better than this...
