WarioWare D.I.Y. - Records Game - I Am a Ninja

If you've watched my other WarioWare D.I.Y. Records videos, you've probably noticed that I only select Auto Play. That's pretty straightforward: It plays the song as-is. If you don't have WarioWare D.I.Y. Showcase, you've probably wondered what the option on the right is. That's Game Mode, which initiates a mini-game based on the song you've selected.

Here, you play as the Maestro in a Balloon Fight outfit. Your goal is to collect as many notes as possible; when you collect one, the game plays that note. Those sparkly star things pass by at the top of the screen, and the big fishes lurk in the water if the Maestro goes too low. The Maestro loses a life if he hits either of them, though there are infinite lives. The scrolling continues, however, meaning it's more of a missed opportunity than anything else.

The scoring here is straightforward: You get 10 points per note. At first glance, the easiest way to get a high score would be to make a song where every instrument is constantly playing a note corresponding to the percussion, but the game keeps a different high score for each song. Also, the song scrolls slower than normal, so you can keep up.

"I Am a Ninja" is a song that I just made up. You can hear the normal version in "Records #4." For now, you can just listen to this awesomely mangled version I get by flying Maestro all over the screen.
