I have tried several spectroscopes, the cereal box and cardboard tube versions, but did not worked that well. This model is great, it gives pretty consistent results and it can be even calibrated with little experience and practice. After couple of minutes of experimenting finally 'mastered' it. Easy to built, printed on A4 250-gram thick paper and put a black sticker on the inner side to minimise reflections. Shows 1st and 2nd order reflections, and partially visible 3rd order. Thanks!
