@KeithWasHere1 No, it doesn't work that way. Much like a phone number, if I call you I'm not also calling everyone that's ever called you. The conversation is an A-B affair, and the server tells the rest to 'C' their way out of it.

@supernobama2 So, who are you trying to get abused? You think everyone is going to believe you'd post your own IP, instead of some person you've got some grudge against? At least you didn't just post a government IP or some such silliness.

how can i find out the ip adress of the person that is hacking me if its even possible or does getting an anitvirus stop hackers from getting into your computer??

If someone really is actively connecting to your computer and 'hacking' you, the IP will be useless to you unless you plan to take legal action. If they know how to do such a thing and you have to ask, you're too far behind the curve to 'win' in such a fight.

An antivirus detects and can stop malicious software from being run on your computer - if you use it right. If you are sure that file is Anna Kournikova and click the 'go away' on the AV, its not going to help.

Is there a way to get an ip address from a youtube user? There is this douche bag bothering me swearing he is "from the Drug Cartel" from Juarez and he is going to locate me here in the USA and bla bla bla. I would like to scare this guy just by saying I have his IP address and track a street nearby where his ip shows. That way he should grow up and stop playing that he is some Pablo Escobar or send him the DEA to get this douche bag...thanks! Much appreciation if anybody gives me some 411!

@samuraidlmz i was wondering that as well. the top comment asks that too. i was listening to a channel on here where the person with the channel said they track the youtube users' ip to see if they're real ip addresses or just bots. how can they do that based on a yt comment and user name?
