this made me cry :*)

@DrBiochemGuy I worked in a lab for 7 years. You and I both know what sort of socialization they get.

@TheWp1991 Yes, those people too are hypocrites. You actually just brought up another great example. Celebs are always the ones protesting this type of stuff yet they are the most wasteful consumption addicts in existence. The same applies to anyone else who demonizes western culture while at the same time reaping the benefits of it rather than choosing to live the lifestyles they advocate for the rest of us. Thanks for validating my point.

@millarjess I have a test for you. Why don't you go to some random stranger's house, kidnap their dog bring it to the park in a kennel, and see how it acts when you first let it out? get my drift? Of course they act scared and confused as any dog (even those treated well) would in a strange new environment. Have you taken your dog to the vet? Is it jumping for joy all "social" like? Didn't think so.

@DrBiochemGuy Do these animals look they've been socialized?
-
@DrBiochemGuy I don't know whether it is necessarily hypocritical to say that it is immoral to perform animal research; after all, many people in Western societies feel that western consumption of global resources is immoral, yet nobody would expect them to starve in protest of this inequality that they nonetheless profit from. Indeed, I don't see how you can say that it is moral; justifiable? maybe; understandable? certainly; but moral, I don't think so.

Thank you so much for saving them. <3

This vid is so sad to watch. I am very happy that these dogs have been resued and that they get get a happy ending to such a horrible start in life.
I held my own until the cage opened and he seemed so afraid to just step on the grass, then I just burst into tears. I don't know how anyone could have treated those beautiful creatures with anything other than the utmost love and respect.

People, please loo into this a bit further before making hasty judgments and formulating opinions. Yes, the Beagle is the model for most canine animal research in the US and the world. However, use of canine and non-human primates for research is performed only when necessary. The NIH enforces this policy stringently. Also, a strict set of guidelines for care and comfort are enforced. These include a regiment of activities and socialization for intelligent animals like canines and primates.
