  • @bayswaterband Well I love the music! It's a lovely tune; the lyrics are great? What's not to like? I think Archie Roach writes beautiful music, with a soul, and sings from his heart and deep in his soul - and it comes through! I love his voice too! Gives me goosebumps! As does Garrumul Yunipingu!

  • @willeppille - Indeed! I find it repugnant! People like this just show their ignorance and how tiny their little fragile minds are. Stay strong! There's lots of people who support you and abhor racism too! I love Archie Roach and his music. Now there's an Aussie to be proud of! What a strong person and doesn't just sing about things, he ACTS them. I wonder if I'd be as strong as he is if I'd been brutally removed from my loved ones as a small child. Makes me weep!

  • @iwanagosurfingthedru And they make me feel as a white anglo.

  • This is his best song and it makes me think of my great grandmother getting taken away. Archie has never been pretentious...he tells it how it is for him and lot of our mob. RIP Ruby HunterXOXOXOX

  • i wish i would be aboriginal or native american or or or !

  • @santanocci NO, but I've heard of it. Have you read 'Why Weren't We told'? by henry Reynolds. Also, 'This Whispering in our Hearts' by the same author, and a more recent one, 'Demons at Dusk' about the massacre at Myall Creek. 6 or so weeks later I still had this book in my head. It will affect your very soul. It's all true. Peter Stewart is the author, and he spent 20 years doing the research, Last I heard he was trying to raise funds for a movie - it would be amazing! Cheers to you!

  • @willeppille I've made an awful mistake - sorry! My comments were meant for Xandeta26. Please accept my apologies. I don't comment here very often, I just clicked on to the wrong place etc. I've just been to visit a dear friend of mine on her birthday, and she's getting over a very serious operation. Her gorgeous kids are taking good care of her - they are an indigenous family, the very people Xandeta26 is insulting every time she makes a comment here. I feel ashamed!

  • @nannyomi45 Have you read 'Blood on the Wattle' by Bruce Elder. almost makes me ashamed to be white and live in this country. Long may the Aboriginie walk this country. Free and in peace. Fine song Archie.

  • Archie Roach and Ruby Hunter make me proud to be Aboriginal.
