At the Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy UK Premiere we talk to Gary Oldman, Director Tomas Alfredson and the rest of his cast on the red carpet.

The film is the big screen movie adaptation of John Le Carre's classic cold war era spy thriller. Gary Oldman plays George Smiley, an accomplished British master spy forced out of semi-retirement to discover the identity of a double agent hiding in the upper echelons of the British secret service.

The film's stellar british cast also includes Colin Firth, Tom Hardy, Toby Jones, John Hurt and Benedict Cumberbatch.

We hear about the challanges of condensing the book 's complicated plot into just two hours. His co-stars and director talk about what made Gary Oldman the perfect choice for playing the perfect spy George Smiley.
